I could have been a tree, this I also know, that I should have been one by now. But I am still a bird. It is in fact great to be a bird, but to a limit. There are many things a bird can do that a tree can't. A bird, for example, can sit in a tree and sing songs, and build nests. A bird can fly over distances on land to see and learn new things, to meet new birds of his feathers. Whereas being a tree is less of fun, it is more of comfort and peace of mind. My need and desire to eventually become a tree however will grow stronger in the days to come. One day somewhere past mid-noon, I will sit on the ground and get myself well rooted. Then I will become a lush green tree with cool shades for travellers and plenty of room in my branches for young birds to stay and sing their songs.
I have just noticed something through my telescopic view, something just above the horizon upon the wide blue yonder in my telescopic view. Now I will fly round that lake in a semicircle, then I will swoop upon what I have just seen at great speed through temperate late morning air. See you!

The Fabulous Walking Bird. This bird can fly perfectly well, but walks several kilometres to find food for it's chicks and walks all the way back. It fly up to the nest high in the tree and stuffs it's chicks so hard and fast, they sometimes choke to death.
The reason: I have a few talents which I enjoy but don't always use to the full, and then when I do stuff, I sometimes overdo it so I get tired and frustrated.
I would love to be a "Seagull", flying most of the time, diving expertly into the water occasionally, catching food in mid-air, a very slight change in the wing fold and change direction, can seem to "float" if the head wind is strong enough. What a talented, hard-working bird.

A bird is free to move anywhere but I don't have that courage to move alone, I always need a company. I am more like a tree connected with soil. But, right now I even can't compare myself with a tree because a tree gives shelter and fruits to others whereas I haven't been that great. But I wish, someday I could be as great as a tree.

A tree in the shape of a bird. A tree has roots and is timeless. A bird, many of them- just fly the coop.

If I were a tree I'd like to be an oak tree with willowy tendencies. Strong but flexible and I do like a drink!
If I were a bird, probably a Griffen vulture, letting someone else do all the cooking so to speak, or perhaps some kind of falcon, like a Peregrine, the fastest creature on earth and graceful with it, but they really do have to work hard for their supper, so perhaps not.

I would say that I am more like a bird because I don't stand in one place. As for the type...hmm...maybe a swan for being calm and collected and completely out of place all at once. I am not rooted to the ground, but I fly around all over the place and sometimes I get really high and sometimes I fall. Plus I don't think I could live without the occasional excitement of getting to fly!

I am a Tree ......Strong and True...A Evergreen that stands through & through....wishing that one day I can be a bird to fly with the wind instead of being rooted deeply into the ground and also able to wander from sky to mountains as free as I wish....ahhhh...if only I could be an Eagle...Majectic and Powerful.......Free to Roam....Free to Fly.....this would be a Incredible thing to feel & see with my own 2 eyes!!!!

I'm more like a bird: I'm free to go where I like when I like, but I always know where home is. I don't know what kind of bird I'd be: but it'd be one that likes the sun, and doesn't have any definable daily pattern to it's everyday life.
