This time I really need a genius, and Your answer isn't the one I'm looking for.

I'm searching for terminology. The closest word to relate to the cognitive field that I search is probably psychology. I search for the field of psychology which studies a Whole Man's Cognitive Experience; perhaps words aren't the dimension I'm looking for..

Diagnostic Psychology? I was satisfied with the name 'cognitive psychology' but realized it meant not cognition of psychology, but psychology of cognition. What is the field, if it exists.

Please don't answer this question, unless it's some wisecrack comment, you'll only drive me far offtrack. What is the field of Cognitive Psychology?

What is your definition of evil?

Mine is "disrupting innocent/uninvolved third parties in your life affairs." That is that basically when someone has a problem with someone else, they are evil when they drag in people who had nothing to do with the circumstances. We all have problems and disagreements but do we need to spread them to others unconcerned?

Exampls would be terrorists killing people in the world trade centers due to a disagreement with US leadership. They were evil because they did not take up their issue with those they disagreed with and just killed random people-many of whom probably did not like US policy either.

Any good definitions that encompass what you define as "evil"?

I am overwhelmed by the number of people who believe that just because they werent there when it happened, it didnt exist. How self centered can you be?
example: I wasnt alive when the bible was written therefore because i am not an eyewitness, its obviously false.
or: the holocaust never happened because i've never been to a concentration camp
in a few years: 9/11 is a total conspiracy because right now i see no evidence
my personal favorite: evolution and the big bang are the only intelligent theories of creation because right now in my life time, this is how the universe works

open you minds people! think beyond yourselves! does anyone agree with me in that the past is the key to our future?

Say you do something you are aware is bad, but you give into it and do that bad thing. Is there a way Karma can be balanced out? Say if you put a whole bunch of bad energy out, by putting a lot of good energy out, does that somehow save you from your bad karma [my guess is no but I'm hoping for a yes]

i was thinking about our condition here... birth then spend all the time nurturing ourselves - eat, drink, learn to walk, talk, - go to school and finish our studies as much as we can, then find a job or find someone to be our partner - others might get married & have children then spend time with them then work, then have bdays every year then start feeling old then DIE

we spend our entire life sustaining ourselves not to get old & ugly but we know that getting old is inevitable, we spend our time struggling too much making money so we wont starve, make ourselves healthy, try not to get into accident but in the end we know we all need to go one day.

we hear our prayers everyday make us well, stop fighting, stop the accidents, stop killing, stop poverty, stop flood or any natural calamity but did u notice that it never stop at all.

its been here more than we r living our lives now
its our REALITY- we are living in an illusion arent we?

so what do u think are we really doing her?

Suppose you were merely walking along minding your own business when along your path to one side you saw a hoard of cute little bunny rabbits. These bunny rabbits in a vicious manner, commenced attacking you verbally for no reason you know of. What would you do?

I can't be specific, but there are things that I now realize that have made me question my life's goal of attaining knowlege. I truely believed that knowlege is power and could only be positive, but now I realize that that is not true, and I can't unlearn all that I have learned. For many years, a near death experience made me want to live in the moment, and not worry so much about anything but the present, and those were really happy times. After growing out of that phase in my life I wanted to learn as much as I could and experience all that life had to teach me. Well I've done that for the last 8 years, and now I regret more than I can bear. All I have now is heart filled with sorrow. If ignorance is bliss, then should I wish I knew nothing at all? Or better, if ignorance is bliss, then what should intellecuals do?
