A few little flaws in your theory.
"Because you weren't there it means the bible is false"??
No one can prove the bible is true, many can say the bible is false, just by the use of logic, the fact that it exists is self evident.Hitlers diaries were false, but the fakes do exist.
We know many 'holy' books are doing the rounds, we can even date them, but they are still full of cr*p!
'Eye witness' doesn't mean that is concrete proof of existence
of an event or that any given event occured as the eyewitness stated, you may have 100 eye witnesses all giving a different version of the same event.
I agree the past is the key to our future but only if we learn from the past, and we dont seem to be doing that do we?

Well, having evidence is usually a nice thing to have if I'm going to believe something I didn't personally experience.
Lots of evidence the bible was written over centuries and compiled by a committee with a particular agenda over 1000 years ago.
Lots of evidence for the holocaust. Don't need much more to convince me that it happened, thank you very much.
Lots of evidence for 9/11. I saw the 2nd plane hit live on TV.
Lots of evidence for evolution and the big bang. Could they both be wrong. Sure, that's the nice thing about science. Best idea with the most evidence wins regardless of who says it.
The amount of evidence that some cosmic Santa many call God created the universe. Zero.
The amount of evidence that Jesus was more than just a man. Just a single book written hundreds of years after he was crucified. In other words, next to zero.

I take it that you believe the Bible is real and the Big Bang and evolution are false. On the other hand, you do believe the holocaust happened and 9/11.
If you believe the Big Bang theory is false, you must believe in Adam and Eve. There's evidence that EVE existed in the evolutionary chain, but maybe you don't believe in evolution. In that case, there's no evidence of Adam and Eve outside of the Bible.
Since you believe in the Bible, you must know that Moses parted the Red Sea. There's a scientific theory that explains this, too. The Red Sea was completely dry several times due to tides from..... oh, but you probably don't believe in that.
Actually, I'm not sure what I can tell you. There's lots of scientific and historical evidence that parts of the Bible are real, but if you are one of those who believe it is sacrosanct, I would hate to shatter your faith.

My friend called me today and said that she was talking to a lady in her store about her deceased husband's grown daughter, and a woman from this town came over and said,"no, he is not ____'s father - 'John' is her dad!"
(He is her step dad)
She actually argued with my friend that the step dad was the real dad.
Finally my friend had to 'explain' to her how the mother had married the step dad when the girl was eight years old!
My friend was totally floored that this woman would say such a thing as though she was right and my friend was wrong! Bull headed ignorant people are EVERYWHERE!
PS For people who believe we came from monkeys - if there are still monkeys, why aren't there any of those other guys you see in the pictures - like the cave men type people you see on those charts, running around alive like the monkeys?

I agree. If someone actually has to see something to believe it then they are going to live in a really small world.
I met a 58 year old man in Chicago that has never been outside that city. I've been all over a lot of this world and I can only pity the man for the life he never experienced.

The world is losing their moral character.
Here is a little history.
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their LUST one toward another *; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Ro 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Ro 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Ro 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Ro 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

i totally agree. The past offers examples on what to do with similer problems that present themselves again years after they happened.
Many people want to ignore the harsh world and stay in their safe little bubble, happy to be ignorant of what has passed and what is happening at that moment.

well said. it really is sad how ignorant and flat out stupid some people tend to be. u r right when u say that the past is the key to our future. we must understand where we came from and what came before us before we can even dream of progressing the pathetic existence of the human race... good question. have a nice day!

Nope. They're awar, but afraid. Inspite of being among so many people, we're lonely, weak. We're not strong enough to face the harsher truths.
