If in the sometime distant future, when we begin to travel into other solar systems, would the discovery of a more advanced civilization result in the destruction of modern religious beliefs?

Every time i read the answers to philisophical questions, christians always answer with a bible scripture or someting pertaining to their faith. Bible scripture is not philosophy.

Love at the lips was touch
As sweet as I could bear;
And once that seemed too much;
I lived on air

That crossed me from sweet things,
The flow of- was it musk
From hidden grapevine springs
Down hill at dusk?

I had the swirl and ache
From sprays of honeysuckle
That when they're gathered shake
Dew on the knuckle.

I craved strong sweets, but those
Seemed strong when I was young;
The petal of the rose
It was that stung.

Now no joy but lacks salt
That is not dashed with pain
And weariness and fault;
I crave the stain

Of tears, the aftermark
Of almost too much love,
The sweet of bitter bark
And burning clove.

When stiff and sore and scarred
I take away my hand
From leaning on it hard
In grass and sand,

The hurt is not enough:
I long for weight and strength
To feel the earth as rough
To all my length.

Do you credit technological advancements and man-created inventions to God? Should God be recognized for what humans create?

So many people I hear of hate church, or Christians and everything that goes with it? I'm curious what it is that has caused so many to feel this way? Please dont' respond fake. I want the truth. I know that Marilyn Manson (Brian is his real name) went to youth group at a Christian church and no one gave him the love, the attention, friendship or hope he was looking for. Sadly that youth pastor can't go back and change that, but I've heard him speak and I bet he's making up for it with every other kid he meets.Many people mess up, Christians are human too, imperfect in many ways and sadly many mis prepresent the name of Jesus. But there are those who are real, true and walk thier talk also. So, what was your experience?

Well I've just reached Level 3 and I was told when I did so I would understand the significance and value of the points in YA. So why am I still in the dark? Is it that I am a hopeless Dummkopf that doesn't know Freudeschade Weltschmerz from borscht? Or was it all a scam?

Suppose S1 is dealing drugs and S2 approaches S1 to purchase illegal drugs from S1. Suppose that S1 asks S2 whether S2 is a police officer and S2 denies being a police officer. Would it be unethical for S2 (although being a police officer) to lie and deny being a cop?
