Latent in these conditioning factors, there is an all - pervading Self. Even when milk is thoroughly mixed with water. the swan separates them from each other, or one (the goldsmith) segregates the pure gold by heating the alloy (in a crucible), or one takes out butter skilfully by churning the curds, or one separates, by winnowing. the grain from the chaff (126-130); so when the wise cogitate upon the creation, the world disappears and there remains only the Self. Therefore, they do not ascribe existence to the transient things, as they have already determined the essence of both.

I was in an so called educational building this morning, it has a "smooking room" . I use this term advisedly, it was a smalll.. ( not much bigger than a single bed ) space, smelly , dirty with plastic seats, the uncomfertable type !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We think we are superior to other lifeforms, animals, insects etc because we have self-awareness, free-will etc, but maybe those other lifeforms also have self-awareness, live in their own world and maybe think that they have consciousness

They are not aware of us, so maybe we are not aware of lifeforms that are aware of us.

To look at an ant colony, from our point of view, we would say that they do not have self-awareness or free-will, but on their level they could.
If a higher intelligence looked at the human species we could be acting, to them, just as an ant colony would act: a civilisation just going about life.

Here's the situation. I live in an apartment and the walls are extremely thin. Since the walls are so thin, I can hear the conversations my neighbors have even when they are speaking in a normal relatively low volume. However, there is a couple that lives above me that argue as loud as they possibly can at least once a week. They yell, and curse, and they threaten each other with violence. If that isn't bad enough, they have two young children living with them and the kids are present during these shouting matches. Many people who I've discussed this with seem to think it's none of my business. However, I grew up in a household where my parents never cursed in front of me. I have never heard the man hit the woman, but the threats and arguments are getting more and more intense. Also, they are happening more frequently and at strange times in the morning and late at night. Am I over reacting? Should I just mind my business? Or do I have a responsibility to call the police or someone?

A girl, sets her mind in herself, leaving all worldly expectations aside, believing in eternal truths & philosophy.
This she had to do as she knew very well, not a single emotional craving of her can be reciprocated in this world, in this temporary life.
but she has a physical existence too, which has its own demands, which is disturbing her now & then to her roots.
Should she neglect that physical demand & stick to her old principle, or should she stake her emotional security to reach a more matured total existence ?
If the last one is chosen, there is 100% possiblity to lose all those equlibrium which she has built up by drops of heartbleeds.
Plz suggets which is better for her ?

I fully accept (and even celebrate) the fact that I'm an asshole who takes pleasure in the misfortune of others. Now, do you not think it was irresponsible for my bosses to give me a job in a hospital where there's all sick people walking about?

Ok, let's face it. It's possible to achieve anything that is material in this life given the chance to work hard and earn it, but this is consumed as we get older and older until we cease to exist. Disease, crime, war and many people still live in poor conditions. Is there a secret in life that all individuals have yet to understand and make good use of? Could it be that Spiritual connection so hard to achieve between everyone and all of us?
