Ok, let's face it. It's possible to achieve anything that is material in this life given the chance to work hard and earn it, but this is consumed as we get older and older until we cease to exist. Disease, crime, war and many people still live in poor conditions. Is there a secret in life that all individuals have yet to understand and make good use of? Could it be that Spiritual connection so hard to achieve between everyone and all of us?

Smile, show people that you care. We all need the material world, to an extent, to fund our survival in day to day life. I chose to work in a place where I take dog's abuse every day, get sworn at, assaulted, shouted at...but I walk away every day smiling and self satisfied. Why? Because I make a difference in childrens' lives. Every single day.

To some I am teacher, surrogate mum and friend. To some I show love, even though i am not allowed to hug them. I can give them a smile when they are sad, a laugh when they are crying. That is my purpose in life. To make a difference and share some love.

If I can change one life, help one child to get away from gang warfare, drugs, abuse and things that they don't deserve to see at their tender age, then I have helped to make the world a better place. For at least one individual. And for me.

This is not a secret. This is in fact is a simple thing requiring a simple approach. What can make people happy and what can at the same time bring them together. The putting of these two things is important because so far accumulation of wealth has solved the problems of only a fraction of the total population. If we like to make everyone happy and stay close then we should need something that everyone can have; something that is of paramount importance and use for all people. We need to know ourselves. The non-reactant and non-superficial part of our mind. We live in a world where we define ourselves in terms of our race, culture, wealth and geography. We stay within the lines of demarcations divided and segregated. We hardly know ourselves. The purpose has been fulfilled by literature, partially by science and religion.

I will post more on this …

Just come to the realization that we exist in a closed system. Anything taken must eventually be put back. We all exist here in what is called the human condition. But for the sake of (whatever), there go I.

Never forget: "You are a child of the universe no less than the trees or the stars, You have a right to be here. Whether or not is clear to you, the universe is unfolding as it should ". - Desiderata.

This seems to be an interesting question. Even I am trying to figure out the answer as I write it down here for you. May be, if not an answer I may be able to add something more to it. (Humans, as we are; and avataars as they were, are different). Realise what is the difference. We as humans are running behind the materialistic aspect of life. I am sure, if I were to ask you, "what would make you the happiest man in this world". Probably, your answer would revolve around, money, luxury, power, love and family. If you are a better human, you would want no wars, no hatred, no poverty bla bla...
Spiritual connection, yes it exists for you, when your stomach is full of bread and pocket full of money. For the hungry and poor, the basic necessity in life is about attaining nirvana.

First Abolish all Religion then we all might start to live in peace, remember John Lennon's song Imagine!!!!! once religion has gone we will all be kinder to each other,as we would all be equal, just normal human beings getting on with their lives,I would also stop the very high wages that are paid out to celebrities and sport stars, then there would be more for the rest of the world

It will never happen. I dont want to sound pecimistic but the world will never be happy.

It is in human nature to be better stronger and wealthier than the other in the immediate suroundings. This is what drove us from primates to the peolple we know. A life in rolling mud and eating bananas with my feet is not a life I would like. But to be fair that ape does not know better.

Ape seem to be very happy. I am happy and not to sound to selfish but does it realy matter if a person in Nigeria is unhappy? What is it to you? You will never meet him/her so why bother with other peoples happiness when you can be living in yours.

And yes if people find peace in themselves they would probably get along much better.
