Explain why you believe or don;t.
EXPLAIN! no simple stuff like because magic don't exist, explain why it doesn't exist.
Just a survey

Air is an obstacle to go faster, for air friction would slow you down in the long term, but could a bird possibly fly without leaning its wings on it? Does not the freedom to flight depend on this limitation? Can freedom be possible without something that would oppose us?

what result do we want to obtain by completing these mundane chores everyday? paying bills, going to work, etc...it's all too mind numbing for me. i hate going to work and having to be somewhere at a specific time everyday.what would happen if i'm 15 minutes late everyday? big deal, will production cease? what is the point of proving to them i can be punctual everyday? is it really that serious? will i be remembered for my perfect attendance?will my picture hang in the halls of the company for years to come with a plaque that reads "most reliable" ? if my job was to wake up at 5:30 everyday, get a massage drink a smoothie, i don't care, by day three i'm getting tired of this routine. when will life begin? i see myself in Ireland, London, Australia...anywhere but here...but will i have the balls to take control of my destiny?...probably not...i am forever a slave

I think that we are all here for a reason. We have been here before and keep coming back because there is something that we aren't getting. I have the feeling that I have been here way longer than my 24 years. If you believe in reincarnation and that we are to keep coming back until we have a realization, what do you think that realization is? and what lies ahead once we have made it out of here? I know it's kinda deep, I should probably go to sleep huh?

And what have you done to fix it?

Please don't say anything blunt like hate. Be spcific.

I would say it is poverty and so far i have done nothing to fix it.

Is asking a question here actually worth FIVE of my hard earned point? Would it be better to horde my points until i have an actual question that could lead to social change or solve some huge problem that is keeping me up at night answering others questions?

I think it should but they say it cannot and when they do it they laugh. The question is really whether or not they have to. I think it's all a big joke.

What are the current theories (if any) regarding the portions of the brain which control the consciousness and subconsciousness? I realize that these two categories of consciousness are overly simplistic, but I couldn't think of more efficient way to label them in the space of this message.

I'm guessing that Freudians would associate the Ego with the consciousness and the ID with the subconsciousness.

Jungians would identify (or would they?) the subconscious with the "spiritual sensation", connection to group consciousnesses, etc.

Existentialists would - well, do nothing I suppose (!).

Regardless of my hits or misses above, have there been any studies which observe areas of increased brain activity during conscious (test-taking, say) or subconscious (dreaming???) activities?

Or, is there a better way to ask this question?

Do you dream of living just a little more independently of your government? Do you want to do more for yourself & family and step back from the sheep mindset so many live in?

If you believe that "God" was not created...
then why would you believe the human race was created?
If you believe in evolution of the human race,
then why couldn't you accept the evolution of a godly being?
