If magical powers existed they would be an extra sensory perception - the U.S. gorvernment and other numerous groups have spent huge amounts of money to prove or disprove this phenomenon. In every test ever there is no re-producable proof positive results. Which means they do not exist. They are just hoaxes.
There is a standing 10,000 dollar reward for anyone that can prove any kind of ESP since the 1960's and no-one has claimed it. Therefore there is none.
The government has also dropped all funding in the research of the paranormal. - I think its a safe bet to say that it does not exist.

I Think if you showed them magic they will believe you .. it isnt about who believes you or not .. it is about what do you show them .. the more magic you show .. the more people who will believe you ..
Anyway it is also about how do you define magic .. people 500 years ago never heared about Television . if you showed them Television they will think it is magic
Compare between Magic And Science to know what you are doing
Also .. Some powers are called magic while they are not like telepathy and Moving stuff .. they arent magic .. alot of people have it but they havent discovered them yet

"Magical powers" could mean a variety of different things. If you are talking spell casting then I belive that only works if the caster and person you are casting it on belives in it, and you are doing the correct ritual. If you are talking pshycic I would want some proof. I belive ther are some real ones, but also know there are tons of fakes. Basically I would need to know more. I do beilive in certain powers, but whether you posses them is a totally different story.

There is no reason to disbelieve you. Magic is a technique of handling things with the help of physics, chemistry or some other branch of science. When the technique a magician used goes much beyond our thinking, we feel it as a magic.

I would not believe you. Here's why:
Essentially all knowledge can be categorized as propositional or empiric. Propositional knowledge is based on the reports of others. ( I "know" Berlin exists, yet I've never been there.) Empiric knowledge is based on personal experience. ( I "know" Kansas City exists; I've been there.)
Your claim would rely wholly on propositional knowledge, with the only report being your own. Therefore, logically I would be doubtful to the point of non-belief.

No I, because I am old and cynical and no longer believe in magic.
That and people will say just about anything, so you can't believe what they say.

I would suggest, no one, unless you can prove it to their satisfaction. Even that would be difficult - we're such a sceptical lot! However, if you claimed to have been abducted by aliens, there seem to be plenty of people prepared to believe that! Maybe because they want to!

I wouldn't believe you and my reasoning would be because you are a wackjob that has too much time on his hands and asks dumb questions.
