Its called questions. If you get bored, and put old riddles, or puns, or sayings...with a "new" humerous twist, as a question....Are you Alan.b?

my gf went to her freinds birthday party, and she was excited to go because it would be the first time she'd see a male stripper. i figured it'd be all in good fun. when she came home, she was drunk as expected and said she got totally wild. i figured she meant loud and what not. a freind of mine told me he was a stripper and that things get way more out of hand than it does at gentlemen's clubs. he showed me pictures of girls touching the strippers junk and even using their mouths to take off whipped cream. but relax, he said - its just girls having fun. so let me ask you, those who have been to a few of these things:
1. how likely is it that a girl will touch a guys dicck at one of these things?
2. how likely is it that it'll go in her mouth?
3. is this all just girls having fun, or is this cheating?

If so, what is it?
And why do you believe in it?

OK, the dictionary was a joke... I'm new to this game and didn't realise a sense of humour was not a necessary prerequisite of asking questions. I am however thinking about living in Africa for the next 2 years. Is it a good idea? What do people think? Can I change the world or even make a tiny difference to the starving babies?

I think cutting off their nose would be the worst thing. A nose prosthetic and plastic surgery still wouldn't help much . . . .

And what is the relationship of memory- conscious or unconscious- to the symptoms of distress often associated with past abuse, such as depression, addictions, and relational struggles?

I define a counselor as a living memorial to the past suffering and future hope of his friends that calls others to face the damage of living in a fallen, often diabolical world. How about you?

I think it is hard to admit being in denial or even being aware of it since it seems to be a self defense response. I think people rationalize the hell out denial!

Does it mean to simply do good, regardless of what you feel? If the answer is yes, then what in the world does it mean to do good to an enemy whose unwillingness to face a past offense that is tantamount to living an evil-hearted lie?

How is one to hate what is evil and cling to what is good while at the same time loving one's enemy?

I am reading a very good book called "Status Anxiety". Where he explains that the origin of the disatisfaction and unhappiness ofmost of modern Western society men lies in the fact that status and material wealth are the main drives and motivation in today's industrial society, creating unhappinness and anxiety in those who don't make it, along with envie aqmong piers. Creating also the illusion that high status equals high personal worth, the more you make the more you're worth what do you think.

I have known many people who are well educated, but they don't think for themselves. I have known people who have inspired me in so many ways, yet some of them can't even read. Do you think there is a difference between the two, or are they basically the same concept?

What exactly are we? Are we simply our flesh? Are we our minds? Are me our thoughts? Are we our souls (if you believe in souls)? Are we are emotions? Or could be something more?

What started me thinking about this was the question of literacy levels in teachers.

If someone handed in a well written piece to a teacher who was unable to appreciate the complex arguments, grammar, choice of words, then how would the teacher recognise the worth of the essay?

Hypothetical there, I am actually training to be a teacher.

If you could provide your comments about the scenario above and answer the overarching question, that would be great.

I'm posting here because I know there are a few intelligent folk in this area.

Cheers.
