If we are all in this life to do something big or small, maybe learn one particular lesson, fall in love, or live life a certain way..... do you think you are on the right path?

Or is that what it MEANS to think outside the box?

Either way, saying "Think outside the box" is most certainly NOT thinking outside the box. Thoughts?

Sometimes (Ghulam-Sarwar Yousof)

sometimes i think my love
we’re so close
across the frontier of the dark
we’ll ache into fusion

but the dark tyranny
of the ocean divides, the intensity
of a consuming moment
stifles the passion

the wind across
the uncharted silence
brings no warm breath of yours
only the wishper of a darker dawn

sometimes i think my love
i see in the cold wind
your presence and i sink
softly into you.

Just read some of their answers to my questions. They are such judgmental people, they feel that they can apply labels to me and call me stupid. Why do people think they're better than other people??

I was asking serious questions.

For those that believe there is no morality outside of religion, feel free to say that simply.

For those of us that believe that ethics or morality can exist outside of religion, what's the justification thereof? Obviously, society creates a series of rules and regulations that are intended to be towards its best interests. But what's the evidence that the best interests of society and humanity is something to be supported? "A better world is a good thing" doesn't require religion, until you realize you have to define what a good thing is; doesn't that defeat some of the nihlism?

Certainly, morality doesn't require GOD or a hell or anything, but at some point we have to define that we have values. Is there an objective way to define values that benefit society, or is it merely majority opinion (much like religion)?

I mean, That is why, lets say Walmart, pays for insurance to cover them for these types of things. I belive that stealing from people is wrong/bad because they worked hard for it, but if we dont steal from corporations, then we are paying insurance for no reasona and the insurance companies are making tons of money... Also, it doesnt hurt anyone if you did, so does it still make it wrong?

I know it's been asked a lot, but I'd just like to add that "not doing something" means that what you decided to do was not do it. So essentially, what you did was nothing, which is still an action. Does that make sense? Basically everybody should reply "regretting doing something" if they think outside the box.

I know what I consider to be true on this subject. I am simply interrested in what others think. I won't say what I think till the end because I don't want to influence the answers.

When dealing with a professional advisor (Doctor, Lawyer, Accountant, etc.) do you feel like they put you into a teacher – pupil relationship as opposed to an employer – employee relationship?
You are paying them, don't you deserve more respect?
