Respect i think is the key to this particular conundrum. If you truly respect a person you will trust them to want to be with you and so naturally the two of you will be free from the fears of doubt. Get over this and quite possibly each person will still want a certain amount of control over the other, sometimes too much (bullying) sometimes too little (disinterest) either way is disrespectful. So, to achieve a non-attached love i believe one must respect the other as ultimately Other in nature incomprehensible to our attempts at capturing them in ideas and concepts of our own. From this space of respect we no longer grasp and try to "own" the other, we freely live as equals in respect. Love is not a bond but rather the sea between the shores of our souls. To attempt to bridge that is a fools folly.
I think.

Love and non-attachment are oxymoron's, and totally incompatible. You can't love and no be attached, because the very nature of love, is attachment.

I thought love did mean attachment! How can you love without attachment? If you can do that then it is not love anymore.

Check the Tibetans.
They were all for tantra.
Go them.
As a side note, we really need several pornographic events at the next Olympics. It's long overdue.

Non-attachment doesn't decrease love
If you pay attention more, that increases love

Precisely Love means not attachment!
If you "love" with attachment, it's not love, it's possesssion.
