Given that the ontological necessity of existence must be defined as essential to Being itself, how can such grounding of the epistemological function be articulated without assuming on a priori and unwarranted existential premise?

there? If it was a place without sin, except for the "apple story," is it likely that cheer leaders would be yelling, "Knock him down!" -- "Run over him!" -- And would it be necessary to have referees? After all, if a man caught a pass out of bounds, wouldn't he just say, "Incomplete. I was out of bounds." Surely, he would not lie!
Are sports the ultimate example of the "sinful nature of man?"

Are they all the peoples from the three Americas? North, Central and South Americas?

That's another issue we have, as L.A., very present in some debates.

In your opinion, when the president of US said that, was he referring to us all or only to the USA people.

That is, is suicide always a bad thing? Must we always consider life as something that is precious and worthwhile, even when it is so bad and pointless? Can there ever be a time when suicide is neccessary, or okay?

I don't know if you Americans know, but we, from Latin America, feel a bit of discrimination (another one!) when the U.S.A. people call themselves by and only by the word "American". You all, according to my understanding of the issue, should better say, to express that, "North American less the Mexiacan and Canadians" (because these two are also North Americans.

But, diven that "North American less the Mexiacan and Canadians" is too big, you'd better say (that's my suggestion): "USers". What do you think?

I'm kidding!!!!! However, you should think of that when you, Americans, say that, okay?

We, human beings, have named all the things in our experience - from plants to food and even each other. Are all these names a mere social contruct to help us make sense of our world, or do they convey a deeper meaning than we care to think about?

So many people on here ask if God can create a rock so heavy that he himself cannot lift it. I'm wondering why people even ask this when the logic of it all proves otherwise.

How has that book influenced you? What did you learn from it? what philosophical thought or discussion did it spark in your head? Please go into detail if you can.
Is the main idea that we should not try to develop a philosophy on life but instead occupy ourselves with the nearest good at hand, such as work? work is good for the upkeep of a civilized community so it is a simple way to do good?

I read an old proverb the other day that stated
"The mouth has no choice but to speak that which fills the heart."

You can tell a lot from a person by their speech and the things they habitually talk about. Does this proverb ring true for you? If so, what do you find yourself speaking of these days?
