In a nutshell, no there's not.

Believe me, I've been there. I felt love-at-first-sight with my ex-fiance and it was over within a couple weeks.

First of all, you need to understand what love really is. Love is a chemical reaction in the brain; it comes in two phases. The first phase is the sexually attractive love whose sole purpose is to drive a man and woman to have sex and make children (thus ensuring the next generation of the species), the second phase comes after the fires of passion have cooled down and is based more on a social need for companionship. True love is more like the second phase of love, however it takes quite some time for it to kick in.

The only 'love-at-first-sight' that actually works is when a haphazard union based on sexual love actually manages to survive into the more evolved and mature love of companionship; quite a rare thing when you consider all the roadblocks you'll run into in any relationship.

There is an attraction, intense infatuation, liking for one reason or the other, for the unknown person.Almost always it is the presumed quality of the person that makes us feel a desire to get close to the person.(mistaken as love at first sight)
Love is an emotion,a truth,a necessity which matures by living and gettting to know the person. It is constantly developing, growing or maturing.
Infatuation is like a newspaper burning showing flames of fire, which are off soon.
Love is like a candle, incense which slowly steadily grows.
Love at first sight is a mirage. It doesnt exist.

Not likely. Different things are going on in your head at the time that you experience the feeling. Maybe you just need some attention or your hormones are jumping etc...Maybe the person that you're experiencing those feelings about fit into the type of person that you think you need in your life to feel whole. The whole thing is based on what you see and possibly smell. Scents are big when it comes to evoking different emotions and memories.

depends on what you're looking at...he he I don't know that there is actually love at first sight, but you can feel a connection to someone that you may want to further explore. I don't think you can really know if it's love until you really get to know that person.

Yes..

If someone has never experienced the phenomena of love at first sight, then I feel they can never truly know what it is..

It is not lust, love is eternal.. it lingers long after we die..
