I need a new intermediate flute and I was wondering if anyone has tried out then purchased a flute through Flute World.

I've found great prices but I'm wondering if the quality would be good. I have never played drums. I'm going to use the ones I get from eBay to experiment and try and learn to play them.

Okay, well I was thinking about getting my sister an acoustic guitar for Christmas because she plays a little but doesn't have one of her own. I can't ask her what kind she wants and stuff because...well, it's for her. She's 5' 7" and I don't know what kind she plays. If anyone could help fill me in on the best kind and what the sizes and stuff are, I would greatly appreciate it. You could give me some sites, prices, and deals if you know any good ones or where I might find some. If I screwed up somewhere in here saying something completely idiotic that all guitarists know, please forgive me because in case you haven't noticed, I know NOTHING about guitars.

I've been playing the clarinet for over 6 years. Several years ago i bought a new clarinet (its a yamaha). Ever since then, i seem to be getting sharper and sharper. I have to pull my barrel out way too much. I was wondering if there was anything i could to help with my situation.

I recently bought a bamboo flute from an online store in China. It was recommended to me by the seller that, since I live in a dry environment, I oil the flute. How do I do this? Where would I get the oil? What is the oil called? Would simply using vegetable oil do the job?

Ok so the school talent show is ont he 10th and I'm still not sure what I'm goind to do for it, or if I'm even going tto be in it! I was thinking I would play Blackountainside by Ledzeppelin on acousttic guitar. I can play it pretty well, but I think I'd just end up boring everybody cuz its just so damn repetitive! I really don't know what to o now... I really wanted to play acoustic guitar. But I wanted it to be a just guitar song with no vocals and definately no just chord strumming! I wanted something that like technical and interesting, preferably fingerpicking. Notjust arpeggios cause thats lame. and no classical cause people will finf that boring too. Somethting that will grab all there attention and make them thtink "Damn, I knew he must have been good at tguitar, but DAMN!" Yea. Or maybe blackmountain side would be good... What do you think? Also my friend is play crossroads by clapton I dont want his piece to totally outweigh mine. thanks. :)

ok well I've played the flute, trombone, and guitar...I'm thinking of playing a stringed instrument, maybe a violin or cello. Is there anyone out there who plays any of those instruments?? Or have any suggestions for what I should take up next??

how do you do it?



i have district competition friday for band. in august, we were given 3 pieces, and we have to play selected parts of them in front of judges. the judges are behind a curtain so it is confidential.

my problem is playing in front of my peirs, i can play fine in front of my teachers, but not my peirs. im a freshman, so i twords the bottom of the line. i know my music, but i get so nervous it sounds so bad, ive been to district before, but failed miserably, when i should have done better.

is the link and it only comes in clarinet/alto sax and tenor sax/bari sax. I don't know what size to get for my bass clarinet either that or if neither of them would work for my bass clarinet. Sorry I left out all this info in the question from before, but sometime this week my grandma is buying me a brand new bass clarinet for college, and I want to keep it as clean and healthy as possible. I don't want it to become my clarinet because it's all gross now. I never cleaned it much because I didn't have the right cleaning materials.
