try some Miley Cyrus tunes. They can be upbeat. Good vocal range, and the teachers will enjoy.

Everyone picks something from R7B or Pop. Try something from Broadway, if youhave the range. There are some great musicals: Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera, Grease, Hair, Jekyle & Hyde.

Or if you REALLY want to get their attention, try a tune from Rocky Horror Picture Show.

My point is, don't do something ordinary. Whatever you choose, just make sure you are well prepared! Rock the House!

Showtunes are always a good idea. Some that come to mind are: The Sun will come up tommorrow from Annie, Sunrise Sunset from Fiddler on the Roof, Consider Yourself, from Oliver, The Hills are alive with the Sound of Music, from the Sound of Music, Seventy Six Trombones from the Music Man, Cabaret from Caberet, Everythings coming up Roses from Gypsy, Memory from Cats, My Heart Will Go On from the Titanic. (Celine Dion)
