Does playing the trumpet make your lips softer?

I've been playin for a couple years and I just wanted to know. I've been told once that my lips are soft but I don't know if he was lying.

It rushes more blood and oxygen to your lips. Over time you get you better control of the muscles in your lips and you lips are stronger, healthier. Yes, and softer.

No, it gives you an unbiture which is nice, and it's strong and it's desirable.
