I know that they don't HAVE to rhyme.
But if you're making one, is it okay if you considentally have a rhyme?
Ex.

Sun brightly shining
Flowers blooming all around
Bright colors surround

Midnight Falls
by: Adam Snow

Walking alone in a cold forsaken world are we. The blood for
which you lust falls upon my lips. The shadows surround us on this dark forsaken night. Holding your hand as the midnight moon shines upon us thru the midnight haze waiting for the midnight song of darken desire. You left me to fade away in this midnight murky haze as my blood drips upon your naked soul. You abandon me for the midnight haze as you slowly fade out of my life. Now alone am I in a world gone cold. This is what you have done to me.

The first one is a catalog poem. the second one is a weather compared to an animal. the third one is a haiku about nature. Are they okay if not do you have any suggestions on how I can fix them?

Catalog Poem
Daily

Getting out of bed everyday,
smelling the fresh air.
Eating a tasty breakfast,
french toast dipped in syrup.
Going to School,
seeing my friends and completing my work.
When it turns 3pm,
going back home.

Extended Image
Thunder

It strikes as the dog howls.
It looks you in the eye and seems to frighten you.
You try to stay out of its way,
but it can still get you.
It has a loud shocking sound.
Its eyes are yellow; it glares at you stays a while,
then leaves after its done damage.

Haiku
Nature

Oh how fast trees grow
Like children, they grow so fast and
When we glare there gone.

my guy hinted on more than a few occasions that he would be interested to know what it would feel like to wear my pantyhose. I think he got interested because he sees me get dressed for the office each day. I told him that maybe I would consider letting him give them a try, but I didnt say anything more about it. He hasnt asked about it since, but hes been showing signs that hes still really curious. I thought about it and got some advice on it. Now Im thinking that as long as it stays in the bedroom and its something we can share together, why not let him try my sheers? But how do I bring it up with him again? When? Do I wait until he shows interest when I'm getting ready for work? And what should I say to get him to actually try them on?

my college preformance involves me stripping off my clothing to reaveal writing that i have places on my body the writing is a bunch of I am statements and each item of clothing has a reason why we hide our true selvese. much like my in class preformance i would be naked in the end. this work does fit in to the student show idea which involves my work with text in it. my question is should i recreate the preformace for my show or should i just leave the clothing in there as a monument of the preformance?

I see in the world
people with wealth
who, from delusion,
don't make a gift
of the treasure they've gained.
Greedy, they stash it away,
hoping for even more
sensual pleasures.

A king who, by force,
has conquered the world
and rules over the earth
to the edge of the sea,
dissatisfied with the ocean's near shore,
longs for the ocean's
far shore as well.

Kings & others
— plenty of people —
go to death with craving
unabated. Unsated,
they leave the body behind,
having not had enough
of the world's sensual pleasures.

One's relatives weep
& pull out their hair.
'Oh woe, our loved one is dead,' they cry.
Carrying him off,
wrapped in a piece of cloth,
they place him
on a pyre,
then set him on fire.

So he burns, poked with sticks,
in just one piece of cloth,
leaving all his possessions behind.
They are not shelters for one who has died —
not relatives,
friends,
or companions.

His heirs take over his wealth,
while the being goes on,
in line with his kamma.
No wealth at all

When I Die Will You Still Love Me?

When I die,
I'll still love you with all my heart,
I'll be looking down on you praying you'll still be happy,
I'll be hoping you still remember the great times we had.
And when I die,
I'll still be thinking about you every minute of every day,
I'll be thinking about whether you still think about me,
I'll be thinking about how much I really meant to you,
But when I die,
Will you still think about me?
Will you remember the days we spent together holding hands and laughing?
Will you still have room for me in your heart?
So when I die,
Will you still love me?

Do you think persian kings told their people" we, the greatest superpower in the world, will invade Sparta to control all of the trade in the Mediterranean because we are a greedy bunch and because we can, and because our leader is a mad idiot who wants to continue the mad war of his bloody father"?
Or do you think they said " Our God leader who receives direct divine inspiration from heaven will lead us in a winning and just war against the evil and barbaric Spartans. We are the good, and the Spartans are the bad and if you do not believe that you are an unpatriotic filth"

Do you think a Persian citizen then could ever believe that he actually belongs to the a greedy super power? Do you think he/she would ever consider that maybe the Spartans, their religion, their customs and their values aren't as bad as everybody says? That maybe their stand against a super power despite their weakness makes them some form of heroes?!!
Doesn't the past shed light on the present?

Thought this poem I found was nice; could someone give me their thoughts on it? Maybe I'm missing something. (pipe character denotes a line break)

David Ignatow, "I Killed A Fly"

I killed a fly |
and laid my weapon next to it |
as one lays the weapon of a dead hero |
beside his body—the fly |
that tried to mount the window |
to its top; that was born out of a swamp |
to die in a bold effort beyond itself; |
and I am the one who brought it to an end. |
Tired of thr day and with night coming on |
I lay my body down beside the fly. |

I thought it was about trying to better yourself and the humility of failing. Can anyone give maybe more insight into this one? Thanks.

Neruda's 'The United Fruit Co.'. It's a great poem, except when the pressure is on to make a presentation and there's no real resources to use that I can find. ^_^0 So, any links or your own personal thoughts on its themes and such would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, guys.

Alright all, I am getting ready to open my own comedy club. I am stuck for a name. I want you to suggest names that convey funny being the key. Also obviously something clean. I cannot offer any compensation for the suggestions but I would appreciate your help.
