and what do you have to do to become one? I would like to be one when i am older. Is it hard to be a self employed architect?

Oh,this is my directly answer as i'm an architect. In Thailand,start point when you just work around 12000-20000 Bahts/month,senior architect around30000-70000 Bahts,sometimes more than this depend on company you work at. You should work at some companies before to be a self employed as you can get experience from the company you work,It's not hard to be an architect,you love you can be,be patient and patient for doing projects or thesis on class.

I't easy enough to be a self employed architect? At this moment in time construction in the U.S. is taking a nose dive and will completely crash soon. Therefore so are the salary's for all that are involved in construction. Besides that, architects in India are taking over via computers.

Usually you go to college for 6 years, open your own architect company, and start out making 60,000 dollars.
