I watched yesterday and waited for love,
he never showed up.

I watched yesterday and waited for passion,
but I wasn't passionate enough

I watched yesterday and waited for hope.
But she never came through the door

Why has thou abandoned me,
when I need thee evermore.

I listened for a sign
but nothing said a word

I waited for a vision
but that thought was obsured.

Then I felt a breeze soft and sincere
and then I knew my love was near.

That's when I saw you
and that glisten in your eyes

and that's when I knew
I had won my prize.

So now as we sit happily face to face

I want you to know you were truly worth the wait.


Here's another poem off the top of my head. How does it sound? Do you think I was born to write because I think it is my calling!!

Distant tremors fill my heart
as I think of us being apart.

Solitude I dare not bare
Lonliness most unfair

Holding your hand is my hearts rejoice

And being beside you is my best choice.

I'll fight for our passionate exotic embrace

we are doing a project on something that looks like something else

FOR EXAMPLE:
a speed boat looks like a mocaccin
or a stop sign looks like a sucker.

Can someone help me come up some more things that you see everyday in the world but it looks like something else.

However, I seem to have a problem with doing what interests me, and instead doing what I think I should be doing. I guess it comes from my quest of contributing something good to our world. I have lots of interests, but can't seem to put a finger on what I would love to do most, and still earn a decent living.

My interests are as follows:
*the Arts - dance, literature, art, music
*Technology - computers, software
*the Environment - water, mountains, animals
*Children - ages 3-12 yrs old
*the Elderly
*Culture - learning about other cultures, especially indigenous people
*Teaching - adults or children
*Planning events/activities
*Traveling
*Helping the needy, or the poor

Weaknesses:
I do need to improve my social (relational) and advocacy skills. :)

Are there any jobs out there that involve some or all of these things? I know if I'm creative enough I can integrate them all somehow. Any help would be appreciated!

Once saw a painting (self-portrait?) of a pale guy that looked pretty scary. Any idea who might've painted it?
