when there is a slur over a staccato note, what do i do? and whats articulation?

It depends on the instrument. On a wind instrument, it means "legato tonguing" - the notes should be tongued lightly but not short. On a string instrument it means that the notes should be played short but on the same bowstroke.

u play the staccoto but right after u go into the other note and are u sure it is a staccato?
