I am 16 years old and looking for an activity I can start and get fairly good at even though I did not start in my youth. I like dancing a lot and have been told I look like a ballerina. I am really bad at basketball...just to give you an idea. Thank you for any suggestions!

If you already like dancing - try tap, ballet, hiphop... not in to team sports.. maybe gymnastics? If you live where you can get outside year round - cross country running? swimming? for the artist in you - scrapbooking? photography. Sky is the limit, its a great time to explore different things!

Look to your local drama club. Being in theater combines a little of everything. There's movement and dance, singing, acting, and each new play brings you into contact with new ideas and information.

hmmmm 'bad at basketball'. That possibly means sports is not for you - nor other things that involve coordination.

So, what about something completely different - like singing, acting, painting, poetry, writing, creating games, making clubs for lonely people, organizing dances for school or groups? on & on.

In other words, let your imagination run wild. Think about things other people do & see if they would interest you.

Good luck.
