i dont want to sound like one of them crazy people who obsess with this... but I picked 4 random events and they all connected with 23... I only did this so I could prove to myself it was a myth.. but now I'm not sure anymore...

I picked

9-11-2001 (9+11+2+0+0+1) eqauls 23

Hurricane Katrina was formed on August 23rd

Martin Luther King was assasinated on 4-4-1968 (4+4+1+9+6+8) equals 32

John F. Kennedy was assasinated at 12:30

I mean I honestly picked all 4 of these events randomly then researched em and then the first things that I saw were these numbers... and the fact that they are all linked to 23..

to be underrated? I've seen plenty of questions asking peoples opinions on overrated generals throughout history, but if you were going to pick one general on each side that has never gotten their just due, who would they be? On the Union side I would pick George Thomas and on the Confederate side Joe Johnston. Curious to see peoples opinions on this, thanx in advance for any and all answers!

I have always admired Elizabeth 1. She was so strong when the politics of the time were rife with plots. She was gifted in that she was able to survive an obviously male oriented era.

We've all heard about all the diseases and epidemics brought to the Indians from the Europeans and other settlers; why is it then, that the Settlers caught nothing from the Indians? or is it that we left that part out (not likely, in my opinion, considering that's not the view that whoever wrote that part of history would want to relay.)
