No. he did bury a treasure but not in CA it was in the Caribbean in an island called San Salvador also known as Guanaini and the treasure consist of 40 bricks of gold and several precious rocks, 5 sapphires encrusted in a pendant, 17 rubies encrusted in different jewels as well as a 6 carat diamond and 60 Pieces of silver. the treasure was found in September 2003 in the south of the island under a 400 year rubber tree, the trunk was made of Caoba and copper finishes. the treauser was found with the help of a map found a year before in the island of culebra a little islan next to san juan, the treasure was worth about 46 million dollars.
