I dont know how to be "politically correct" enough maybe. Is there a book I can learn it from. I swear, no matter what you ask, it just seems there is always that one person who has to add his insulting or belittling comment or answer.

It seems that mentions of Columbia are present in the U.S.'s highest insutitions including the Districts of Columbia and Columbia University. How did this come about? Does this have to do with Christopher Columbus and his arrival in the Carribean region?

Why does it seem , especially off of the history channel, that you cannot find a truley objective documentary? I hate propaganda and having someone try and guide my perception of history. It seems that I have to spend more time trying to filter out the brainwashing when I watch a documentary than is really worth for the time spent. I like facts. That is why encyclopedias come most in hand to me.

When you hear for example that Britain was in much debt after the Thirty Years War or Seven Year War or whatever, first of all WHO does it owe "money" to? , and why cant it just make its own "money" or steal it from whomever with its army? I just dont understand this.
