If someone types a message on an antique telegraph machine, does someone else have to be on the other end as the person is typing it out? Or were there versions of the machine where it would either record the transmission for looped play or type out the transmission on paper? Let me know if this doesn't make sense. Thanks!

I am writting an essay on the 1918 Spring Offensive during World War One.

Does anybody have any websites that they like with information about the first world war?

Does anybody have any websites that gathers sources from that time period?

Does anybody know of any books which could be used for this essay?

I am currently compiling my sources: http://www.bobly.info/ if you want to see what I've currently got (should be complete by 14:00 GMT) or if you also could do with some of these sources.

I am writting an essay on the Spring Offensive of World War One and came across this website which offers several sources:
http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/FWWspring.htm

How valid do dyou think these sources are?

How can I get more information about the sources to quote them properly?

Do you have any additional sources websites or any kind of input you'd like to volunteer about the Spring Offensive or the Stromtroopers?

This is a serious question, serious answers only please.

This is a serious question. I'd like to know the real reason dogs do this and the actual connection with Leonardo da Vinci on this matter.

The busts I am referring to are mostly the busts of heads from great historical or political figures in Greek and Roman history, seeing as the poor of the empires probably wouldn't have had the money to get a bust of themselves. Also, I am not including the Gods and Goddesses in this question because I have seen busts and statues of them both with and without pupils.

Imagine ever since its creation the earth was peaceful and there had been no war and genocides of all sorts.
What do you think the world would be like? What concept of life would we be adopting right now? And most importantly, what would be the amount of human beings living on earht right now?

I don't have any examlpes of what we did wrong except for our civil war. The reason I have no examples is because the schools cover everything up.
