To understand that you would have to take pretty much country by country. And know that that is a relationship that was a two way street. For example the arab culture begins as a nomadic one . It proceeds to conguer civilizations that were superior to theirs and hence a two way street. We find for example when we look to Ethiopia we find that the earliest artifacts in Saudi Arabia are not arab, but are written in Geez. Monuments in Saudi Arabia carved in stone the language of the Ethiopians tht speak Geez.
Then just go and study country by country (Ie. Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania,Sudan,Nigeria and so on)
