Genealogy

All I know is he passed away early 1950s, family was from France and he lived in La Honda. Our family bought his home many years later and there were LOTS of old photographs and antiques in the home when we cleared it out. I want to know more about him bc I own some of his art and I was also wondering where he was buried, and if he has any family alive out there that might still be alive........

I really need some information about my family history, and my last name is Millsaps. Does anyone know how to find anything out about it? I was wondering if anyone out there was a subscriber to ancestry.com and could help me out. I'm trying to find out where my godmother is buried and keep hitting road blocks because a) I cant get to the main branch of my public library to use their database and b)I dont have a credit card to sign up for the free trial on ancestry.com
