If you can't get to a Dr. go to your school nurse. If they can't find anything wrong, and your just irregular, they will give you birth control pills to regulate your period.
If you live in a rural area with no school nurse, approach a female teacher you trust and explain your problem. She will know a way to help you in the area where you live.
(Remember people, not everyone lives in a city.)

Wow.. that's a long time! And you're young too. Normally, the doctors will prescribe you a birth control pill to regulate you when anything out of ordinary.
Wow.. for most us.. we can barely handle 5 days let alone 3 weeks. That's extreme. You should go to the doctor but your mom has to take you cuz you are a minor. Doesn't your school have a like a nurse? You should try that.

I guess you can tell that you need to go to a Dr as soon as possible by the responses so far here. I agree with them too. It's not good for your period to last that long. You are probably becoming anemic at this point & you may even be low on blood depending on how heavy you have been bleeding.
It's probably nothing more than a hormone imbalance but the Dr may want to run other tests as well because it could be a sign of something more serious like cervical cancer or something.
So yes, go to the Dr. Find a way!
If you can't afford a Dr., at least go to the health department, or call them & be seen by one of their Drs.

I have had this problem too. It is probably from stress and/or weight gain. I didn't get it checked out b/c I do NOT have the money too. I'm also not a crybaby that goes to the doctor everytime I scrape my knee like some of the people on here sound. I understand that you're scared; I was too. I would say that you should talk to the nurse at your school; they're usually pretty knowledgeable about stuff like this. Good luck!

U are losing blood too fast and too much. Sounds like if u went to the doc he would put u on vitamin K.
U need to take some calcium and iron tablets to get back on track.
If u just had a baby, then this is normal, but if not, go to the doc before u lose too much blood or build your blood back up by eating lots of meat.

2 months? 3 weeks? Yes, something is wrong! you should only have a period for about 4-5 days. Go see a doctor right away!

Sounds like my mom, being paranoid and afraid of doctors or anything medical, saying to take herbs or natural medicines for it, but that won't cure cancer. I would go see a doctor anyway even if you have to walk, or go to PlannedParenthood, they have exams for cheap, even free so i would check them out--they will be able to help you!

I can't say for sure, I'm sorry. But I too have experienced long periods, usually for 2-3 weeks. I think it has to do with nutrition and weight gain (at least for me). It may also be linked to stress.

No, you are not fine. You need to go to a doctor. This is not a period, this is bleeding. Period is supposed to be 4-5 days, or 7 days at most.
Yeah, genealogy is not to be confused with gynecology...
