I wish to learn Ballet professionally but what is the difference between learning professionally and learning Ballet? I am 13 and interested in Ballet,but school is too busy and my parents reject me for Ballet lessons as it is expensive and they think I am too old and cannot dance as good, but surely someone, not a child invented Ballet, right? And she/he is an adult who invented Ballet and must have start Ballet rather old. But I do not understand why adult cannot take Ballet professionally?
] So, I wish to take Ballet when working, about 25+. Is it an good idea. I wish to perform but too late? And why dance? But that just passion. And how can I urged my parents to let me learn Ballet.
Well, actually I am sort of greedy... I want to learn Latin Dance and so many... But I like Ballet Best! And now what is the difference in Classical and Modern Ballet.

Pls help me...from another Ballet-lover in the world!

Im 21 years old... and I love to dance, and teach others my great moves... I really wanna start my own dance school! I never took any dance classes before or anything like that.. I was a high school cheerleader four years. Do I need some kind of schooling to start my own school, or can I do so with what Ive got?

I really want my pointe shoes!!!!! I am 14 and I have been dancing since I was 3. I quit for two years[long story] and i finally got back in in Sept. My teacher says that i will get my shoes in May or June, but that was right at when i started. How do i know if i will get them soon? Today[thursday feb.15] i had a real bad dance lesson. i was messing up so badly at warm-ups. I was good at the other stuff. Will this affect me in any way from getting my shoes?? What if i have other bad days??? Please help!!!!!!! i desperately want them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and my mate had a bet, I said there are under 18 clubs in South east London that play other music than Latino, Arabic or Jamaican music and he said no there are none in South east London. Are there? I need to prove him wrong! Cheers for your help.

This is the only type of exercise I can tolerate. I'm agoraphobic, so something I could do at home would be great. But if I am motivated (not by exercise, but by dancing) I'd leave the house. I like doing DDR. I used to be a disco queen and absolutely loved it!

when i go to party people always tell me to dance cus they say i dance Great? iam like. Yeh Whatever lol but. i always have fun when i go to weddings or partys or just plan dancing with friends at There house but

Okay so cheerleading tryouts is a week from now and i wanted to try out, but i learned like 4 month ago that our school will be having a dance team for the first time in 15 years. There is alot of people trying out for both. I cant decide what to do cuz i have been working my *** off for cheerleading since this summer, but dance team sounds like more fun. I take dance classes and my dance teacher told me from what she's thinks that i should do cheerleading cuz i improved since this summer. I dont know how dance team is gonna be since this is the first year they are doing it in a long time plus i don t even know what they are going to dance too since our band is like 5 people who dont even go to away games. I'm realy shy and want to come out of my shell. Which one should i try out for and what should i do when it comes to tryouts for both?
