Both are excellent. I have never been in the studios at UCI but I have two friends (dancers) who went to and love UCI. I have another friend who loved Long Beach, and I can personally say the studios are some of the biggest I have ever seen (though the acoustics suck so sometimes I couldn't hear the teacher). Have you toured the schools? In your place, I would be compleatly torn. Tour the schools, talk to the students, look for other aspects of the school, student life, dorms, food (super important), ect. Cuz no matter how fantastic the dance program is, if you hate everything else about the school you will be miserable.

Go with UCI, it has a better national reputation.
