My creativity jar is a bit empty, and I wanted some cute, witty HP screen name (long story short, I need one for my quidditch team. No lie, we're going to my friend's house Saturday afternoons, run around on brooms, and throw tennis balls into hula-hoops. Yes, we are obsessed.) I was thinking, FollowTheButterflies, but that was too long. Something like that. Thanks a bunch! ^_^

After you give the author's name, perhaps you'll also share what you consider to be his or her greatest achievement.

The sword Of Shannara
The Lord of the Rings
The tale of two Cities

Or Other?

More Details
Heyy Everyone!

Anyways, down to the question
I need a good book to read. My class is doing this thing where you get to pick your book to read, and do some activities with it. The book is supposably enjoyable. The book can't be inappropriate. I am in 6th grade, but I read at about a 9th or 10th grade level. A lot of time adult. But, the book has to be appropriate (no swearing, or bad romance!!) I love fantasy. Here are some books I loved....

Eragon
Eldest
The Bartenous Triology
Redwall Series
Uglies Triology
A great and Terrible Beauty
Inkheart
Inkspell

Remeber I want to impress my teacher!
Thanks a ton!!

One of my favourite books is Donna Tartt's 'The Secret History'; a wonderful psychological thriller and very unique.

I've yet to find another book which equally good characterisation or such a haunting 'feel' to it - anyone have any suggestions?!

I love psychological thrillers, but have read lots of commercial books, so am now looking for something a bit more unusual...

Many thanks in advance for your replies.

I have almost finished writing my first 450 page novel (there may even be more pages...)and about to start a second one. What it the best way to find an agent to see it it's worth publishing? It's very personal and some of it is harrowing but there is a light at the end of a sometimes very dark tunnel.

A few months ago, I came across a book in an antique shop that I fell in love with but couldn't afford at the time. The title involved the word "fountain" and it was printed in the 1800's or perhaps the turn of the century. It was a fairy tail as I recall. The cover, as I remember was green with gold print. What was amazing about the book was the hand drawn illustrations within the pages. Does anyone have a clue as to what the full title of this book is?

Personally, I love the story of Rapunzel. Growing up, my twin sister and I would always fall asleep to the sound of our parents' voice--telling us the story of Rapunzel. We never tire of hearing it. And the version of Rapunzel in this book is so erotic and discriptive--I just love it! Imagine that! An adult version of Rapunzel--my favorite fairy-tale!
