Yes, Jane Austen is awesome! She is one of my favorite authors. Witty and meaningful, the best.

Absolutely, although at times she gets so into her tales (like Emma or Sense and Sensibility) that it tends to lose a bit of reality. It can be a bit convoluted and over dramatic. I know women love that, it's sort of the soap opera and romance novel ideal, but for me, as a man, I really enjoy her writing, but can become frustrated with it as well.

I love her books. Emma is my favorite to read, however, I love the various film versions of Pride and Prejudice.

i know!! i love Pride and Predjudice, and Emma. Sense and Sensibility is great and Northanger Abbey was kinda creepy.

I can't stand her, but my wife thinks she's the best. Especiallly Pride and Prejudice. You women are too much.
