Books & Authors - November 2006

so im pretty much obsessed with Dan Brown's books. The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, Deception Point, Digital Fortress... so given that im crazy over these type of books, do u have any suggestions/recommendations as to what book i should look for to fulfill my "Dan Brown" withdrawals? u kno...books that come close to Dan Brown's books. it would be nice if the books u suggest can be borrowed from a local library...thanks guys.

I love James Patterson books and have read all i think! What is your favourite and which would you like to see made into a film? Any of the Alex Cross ones would do for me.....although enjoyed kiss the girls far more in the book than on film

i love writing. im pretty creative you could say.
im writing a book at the moment - typing it, and i really want to hopefully send it off to publishers.
im interested in journalism also.
my question is: should i study subjects that can help me in journalism, or not worry about it and focuz on writing?
cause i dont know whether my writing will even be accepted.

Im wondering about career options.
I would like a career that lets me read books all the time...fiction books.
i was thinking of a publisher.... what exactly do they do?
or an editor.....im not good with grammar thou' and sitting all day and doing grammar sounds boring.
maybe a writer....but i don't think i'll ever be good enough....ha!

it was to be a short story but now its a really long book i have written by hand not typed yet. it is 209 or 210 pages long. i want to send it in and see if it can get published. but i dont know if i will. do you think oit will. im only 15 and i have a very creative mind. the whole book has my own cahreters i made up. plz give me some engeregment plz i really need it. i dont think it will be published but in my heart i belive it will be. but my head says other wise. should i follow my heart or my head ?
