I'm writing a huge paper on the poisonwood bible, and I need a scholarly article that discusses certain aspects of the book. (themes, motifs, etc.)

If you're at a college or university, use its website and look for a page that lists the databases they subscribe to. Look for the databases called

1. Academic Search Premier
2. MLA International Bibliography
3. Project Muse

Using my own library's access to these databases, I ran a quick search for "poisonwood bible" in each one. All three databases returned several nice scholarly articles, with each individual article being fully available online, full-text. One of these three should satisfy the requirements for your paper.

I was forced to do a report on The Poisonwood Bible in my History 162 class. I found in nearly impossible to find any scholarly articles that I could actually help me make a revelant point.

Out of these, chipping in for The Invisible Man as the first book of the Civil Rights era, and An American Tragedy as a hell of a good read. Moby-Dick is a classic but I could take or leave it compared to the other two. I haven't read Sister Carrie (though I know I should) or The Poisonwood Bible.
