Of all of Shakespeare's plays I own the lot,
Of them, which shall I read, or should it be
A sonnet of which I have also got?
Acknowledge why and twelve points you'll get free!

I'm writing an essay about "Night" by Elie Wiesel. This is the topic:
"From Night, select a character that has been changed by a particular event. In a well-developed composition, identify the character, describe the event, and explain why the character's change is important to the work of literature"
I'm writing about Eliezer, how he changed by the whole event of the holocaust, what could my title be?

Can anyone recommend novels set in a post-apocalyptic situation...I've read several (I Am Legend, Earth Abides, The Stand) and loved them, so any titles are appreciated.

Well, for language arts, I have to read Stormbreaker, the novel. I read the first 6 chapters a little over a week ago, and since I didn't care for it much, I can't remember what happened. Can anyone give me a brief summary?

I'm looking for a good book to read about life in general, I guess like a self-help book. I'm thinking about picking up a psychology major and writing about every possible aspect of life I can think of, both ups and downs, but I need some inspiration. Can anyone recommend a good book?

I have enjoyed at least ten books from his "Comedie Humaine" and am always struck how the feelings and attitudes he wrote about then are often reflected in society today (I live in the US). I am starting Proust's "Swann's Way" and am finding it more dated. Any thoughts?

In the first book; the boy lives in a domed city where they give the important people computer chips with knowledge and others work as slaves? He escapes and finds humans outside the dome. Post Apocalyspe? In the second book, in a different domed city lots of psychic humans, empaths etc work through a Web? A girl has slightly different abilities and receives dreams from the boy. She and some others go outside to find the boy and the other city. She wears purple. Help, it's bugging me! What are the books called and who wrote them?

Is Albert Camus "The Plague" existential? He argues that it is not because it lacks a philosophical system, ranks morals above politics, and he considers himself agnostic rather than atheist. I am doing a paper on this topic and it got me thinking.
Your thoughts?
PS- if you read "The Plague" what else by Camus or any other writer of his fashion would you recomend because I would love to read more!

Thanks!

I've never read any of his works but I've heard his books are very interesting - especially the twists. So that I'm not completely lost, what should I start out with? Should it be one of his trilogys or a book that stands alone?

Hi. I was browing Amazon and came across loads of 'superfoods' books, which I think a friend would want for Christmas. But do any of you have any and can you recommend any good ones... with like a foodstuff per page with a big fact file and profile on it... a simple lay out.
