I am a book fanatic, one of my favorite spots is the library and i am an aspiring novelist. Can anybody recommend some good books to read, preferably by black authors but i'll read anything written by any person of any color. So can somebody recommend some good books to read? I'm getting bored with my selection...

Have you read the "Noughts and Crosses" series of books by Malorie Blackman? It sounds like they would be perfect for you. They deal with racial issues in a novel way by being set in an alternate world where white people are in the minority.
Here's an Amazon link ...
