How could a god who was all knowing, etc., allow the Holocaust to occur? This is a question that Jews have been asking during and ever since it happened. There are many, many explanations given but in the end, the Rabbis say that we will not know for sure until Moshiach comes and then we will have our answers. EDIT: To Bryan. That's because for NO OTHER PEOPLE was an entire program designed, planned, and implemented to eradicate and genocide the ENTIRE population of this people from the face of the earth. Just for the Jews.

It's written by Elie Wiesel who actually experienced the holocaust first hand, so the whole thing is from his perspective, commenting on everything as it's happening. It's really powerful, and if you're into that kinda thing, I really recommend it!

yes! The book "Night" by Wiesel is about the holocaust. He is a survivor of the Auschwitz, and recounted his horrorful experience in that book.

Oh yes. Very moving book. Wiesel has dedicated his life to ensuring that none of us forget what happened to the Jews.
