I am a young man in my early 20's and I am at the point in my life where I really need to choose a career path, I have always been into history and have always been fascinated with movies like Indiana Jones, National Treasure, The Sahara, and movies in that nature. I would love to travel around the world and reseach, dig, and explore ancient lands. So I guess my question is how do I get started in this? What would my college degree be in? Are there companies that actually do these kinds of things? Any information would be helpful, thanks for your time.

My US History teacher announce that there would be a test which included the Gibbons v. Ogden and the Great Slavery Commerece(?)
But these two materials are not cover in the book or any handouts the teacher gave us
instead, a 30 minute old video was shown, which was pretty confusing
I dont get how the Gibbons v. Odgen has anything to do with steam boat, have to have a NY license(for what?) and slavery
only know about stong central govt v. state's rights

I live in New Zealand and have not seen it in any bookshops or libraries and don't want to buy it off the internet if I don't have to.
It has been out of print for ages by the way.

We're each programmed with memories & personalities from real-world originals and it is vital for the simulation that we make most of the same life choices that our originals made. If too many of us stray from the course of history as it originally unfolded, the simulation will have to be terminated and all simulated replicants - each conscious and self-aware - destroyed.

Now suppose you are one of the few to learn of this state of affairs, and furthermore you find out that your real-world self became a serial killer at some point. In order for the simulation to turn out correctly, you have to kill the virtual copies of at least certain key individuals as your original did, but as you are a consciuos being, you happen to have developed in a different direction than the original and the thought of murder repulses you (if it really doesn't, pretend).

Would you do it in order to keep the entire simulation from crashing and all virtual inhabitants destroyed?

It would only take a few minutes of your time and would be few pictures with, simple natural poses

Note: By photographer I don’t mean anyone just walking around with a point and shoot, basic camera. I mean a person who is using a fairly advanced camera setup, is clean and dressed nicely, and can tell you a reason why they are out taking pictures. (Possible reason include Shoot an event or show, taking pictures to build his/her portfolio, taking pictures of an attraction...etc)

If you said it was okay for s/he to take you picture would you sign a release for the pictures taken?

Would you want to receive a copy of your pictures via mail or e-mail?

With the exception of anything in the fantasy, paranormal,
sci-fi or horror genres. I've already read Memoirs Of A
Geisha, Gone With The Wind, The Notebook, among others. I can handle an advanced vocabulary and I'm not daunted by length either. They can be classics i.e. Gone With The Wind or something more contemporary i.e. The Secret Life Of Bees, just please don't recommend Catcher In The Rye,i can't stand that book. Just please recommend great novels, and must read great novels. Thank you in advance.
