My Grandmother had a large collection while I was growing up. She passed away 21 years ago when I was 7, from breast cancer. She told me what they all represented, but I cannot remember. Two years ago her entire collection burned in my Grandfather's house fire. I want to get a Kachina tattoo to represent her life and her struggles, but mostly the love of art she passed along to me.

The mark in lower left corner is a triangle with 'INC.' in the center. To the left of the triangle is the copyright symbol, A, and 1927. At the top of the triangle is 'M'. At the bottom point of the triangle is 'CHGO'. To the right of the triangle is 'P'.

In the lower right of the print is 'Heart's Desire'.

Here's hoping someone has information. Thanks

Do you have flashbacks or find yourself getting very emotional when you watch movies and/or documentaries about WW2. I was very young, born in 1942, but have some memories from the War and find myself getting very emotional when exposed to material about the War. Wondered if I am unique.

I expect that adults from that era would experience flashbacks wondered about others that were young children.

My father was in the Army and served from 1941-1945, Combat in Europe in 44-45. I was only 2 but remember the day he left. I had dreams about it until my late teens. Then mentioned it to my mother who told me it actually happened as I had dreamt it.

Did Cathy die in childbirth? I was confused there, because she would have been 9 months pregnant when Heathcliff showed up for the last time, and I don't remember anything about her pregnancy, especially since she was so ill.

young lady hold your head up high
don't be trapped by the society's definitiion of prettiness, sexiness... liquidating looks
liberate yourself from the slavery of magazines
release yourself from the bondage of naked love scenes
realize and recognize that your reflection paints an picture of its own attraction, its own satisfaction, its own beauty
Your beauty aligns itself with unique measures and creative curves
Don't swerve into the traffic of tragic popularity
Don't drown in the blinded crowd- seek your own clarity
Let your light shine in all circumstances
Watch as your inner beauty advances
Take a stance in your confidence
Young lady hold your head high
Show your self strong
Love who you are
Aim to arise above the compromise of societal sickness

I don't mean from like 1970, I am talking hundreds of years ago. I know there was Saladin in the Middle East. Then there was Alexander the Great and Genghis Khan. Are there any other historical figures like them?

And what do you think about her writing style? Many people I know seem to think that her stories "run together", and are formulaic. But I have read nearly two of her novels and think she is pretty good. (Daddy and Five Days in Paris).

To all of you writers and poets, how faithless is the muse of verse? One day whispering in my heart, next day gone elsewhere. In vain I search for my inspiration, days go by and my pen has dried up... never know when she will come back.. Is there a cure for writer's block?

I and my twin sister were born in Vancouver, Canada many years before the Second World War. During the war my family and I suffered internment for several years. The government sold our family’s dry-cleaning business and my father was forced to work in a labor camp. who is this person???????????

Despite my troubled beginnings, I went on to earn a BA and eventually a Ph.D in Zoology in 1961. I remained a professor in zoology for 40 years at the University of British Columbia.

During this time, I used my knowledge and passion for nature to develop several radio programmes and TV shows. Since 1979, my science and nature show has aired in over 50 countries and was pushed with the aim of increasing awareness on climate change, a sustainable society and renewable resources.
