I'm missing two library books which are both overdue. I plan to renew them but I can only do so a few times. Please help.

Oh, no problem. I'll be right over to help you find them. Are you kidding? You need to check all over your house, and then double check. Also check bags and cars and places where you might have taken them. If you still can't find them then you might as well pay for them...paying the overdue fines and the fine for a book that is lost will be more than just paying now. Good luck.

Look everywhere and try to find them! If you lose or damage library books, you will have to pay a set fee as a replacement.

This replacement fee has no connection with the value of the books - I lost a $6 paperback from the library, already in very poor condition, and had to pay a $80 replacement fee.

if you do not find them, you had better just fess up and buy them or replace them.
if a book is too overdue, they will put a warrent out for your arrest.
seriously, it happened to my brother when someone got a hold of his library card and checked out a bunch of stuff.

They will be sending to Library police to your home to get the books. You don't want to mess with library police.

Do a massive shack down of your house, car, wharever. If will have to pay for them, and books are not cheap!
