Aren't we constantly the result of our past decisions and actions? Doesn't that obliterate the idea of 'being free'?

Historically speaking, it was the French who first settled on the 'island', but a year later an English explorer claimed it for Britian (unaware of the French presence). Spain acquired the territory from France then placed the Argentine gov't in charge.

lately i've been watching some really sad movies and I have cried for the first ones. During rehearsals and stuff I could make myself cry but lately it's been getting hard. I stopped crying during sad movies and I can't cry anymore when I act. Do you think that watching so many sad movies has made me immune to the sadness or something. Like I'm so used to it that I'm not affected by it anymore? how can i make myself cry again?

A quick choice of mine are:

1- Being at Roswell, NM when whatever crashed hit the ground.

2- Woodstock ( the real one in the 60's)

3- WW II ending ( Some serious celebrations going on around the globe !!)

Cells are dying every moment...I read that we virtually have a brand new body every 7 years....moments come n go, experiences, beliefs/ideas falling away and new ones replacing them....little deaths every moment seems to be the unwritten law of life. Impermanence.

Is death just a continuation of a process, or is it a solid event in time, or is it both?

I crack up when I see Goldie Hawn drape a cigarette from those pouty lips as if she really smokes. I just wondered if she really smokes or if it's just one of her acting techniques.

hello- I was looking for 2 books called
"criminology:the core" & the study guide to it, by larry J.Seigel-2nd edition. I had the ISBN's as 0-534-59914-0 and the other ISBN is 0-534-59914-1- Amazon had no matches for
those ISBN #'s. I went to a site that compares prices-they had these
ISBN#(above)- Since I like buying from amazon.com so I went back and put in
the title there and the exact title I was looking for came up same picture
same everything except ISBN# !!! so i took those ISBN's#(below) to 3 other
books sites & the same exact book comes up "Criminology: the core"-so it
look like the same book comes up with different ISBN#'s -have you ever heard

I hate myself more than others hate me.

When I was young
I never needed anyone
And makin love was just for fun
Those days are gone

Livin alone
I think of all the friends Ive known
But when I dial the telephone
Nobodys home

All by myself
Dont wanna be
All by myself anymore
All by myself
Dont wanna live
All by myself anymore

Hard to be sure
Some times I feel so insecure
And love so distant and obscure
Remains the cure

All by myself
Dont wanna be
All by myself anymore
All by myself
Dont wanna live
All by myself anymore
