You will not be remembered for what you do but who you are.
If you don't believe me ask five people to give you the greatest baseball player ever to live. You'll hear-
Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Micky Mantel, and so on but they will never say the man that really is the best. Ty Cobb.
Cobb was the best ballplayer ever and one of the most miserable people to walk the earth. Time has almost erased him from our minds, because of who he was. Not Ruth however.

In my estimation, there is no greatest lesson in life. But one great lesson is be humble and modest as you walk with God.

You, yourself, are in charge. You can take options or choices given to you by others but you have the final say over most everything to do with you after adolescence. You choose where to do and be and stand and how to do what you do. People can yell and scream and try to be persuasive and if you choose to give in to that so be it, but it was your choice to do so and that must always be remembered. There's never a reason to blame anyone else. You have the power to change anything you want changed in your life. If something isn't an option, it's because you don't consider it one.
