Thinking of doing stock photography. I’m not expecting to make a lot of money or expect all my pictures to get approved, I just thought it’d be a fun way to make a few bucks.
First of all, I’m an amateur photographer. I have a good camera (canon powershot g7) and have complimented on my pictures, but as an amateur do I really have a chance at all at getting my pictures on a stock photo site?
Also, I got the gist of how stock photo sites work, but just so I’m clear… if they approve my picture, is the picture still “mine” or does that site now own it? On the website, would it be just a “generic picture” and nothing more, and I’d still be able to submit the picture to other sites, sell it, whatever else I want to do with it?
And some short questions…. Do I have to have a business license or patent of some sort, or can I just submit my stuff like that?
And do I have to claim it as an income for taxes, or is there a certain limit that I can make without having to claim it?

I frequently have dreams where someone asks me if im jewish,or there is a jewish theme to the dream.

in one I ask someone if they are jewish and then tell them my g.grandmother was jewish and that her name was miriam?/

Even last night I had the weirdest dream where a group of women looked in my mouth and told me i was jewish like them.
???

I do not have any jewish ancestry that i know of,I do look kind of jewish.

Do you think we get hints about our ancestry through dreams?

This is not really a matter of as to what to write, but more like what I should be writing. Medieval fantasy has evolved much, and I'm trying to do something spontaneously different. I can't, because once again I find myself using the stereotypical things that appear in medieval fantasy - elves, dragons, and whatnot. I just need to know whether the general public are tiring of reading about such common things and wish for something new, or if they are satisfied with the comfortable familiarity of dwarves, mages, and so on. Please tell why, too.

okay so yesterday i had went to solo ensamble (for those of you who don't know what it is it's a thing where you sing in front of a judge in a little room)
she gave me a 2 out of a possibe 5, 1 being the best.

i was really mad because i've been working on my song for almost two months and it was almost perfect.
i had great posture and diction and the only thing that i was bad at was my breath support.
even my voice coach/accompanist and my choir teacher said i deserved a 1.

What contributions has Africa given to society and the world? Hittites were the first to forge metal, the Greeks and Iroquois to develop a democratic and equal society, the Romans heavily influenced modern law systems with their efficient judicial system, and the Chinese, Japanese, Indians and other Southern Asian peoples made many technological, medical, and architectural advancements. Besides the ancient Egyptians, I've heard of the Islamic Mali kingdom was an important trading civilization, and Carthage pioneered in war tactics (mainly due to Hannibal Barca) and naval research. Are there any other major African kingdoms/empires that heavily contributed to modern civilization?
