You don't FIND meaning in life you MAKE it.

so go join the Peace Corps, use fluorescent bulbs, help the homeless, start using a composting bin, or even pick up that stray plastic bag you see flying around on the sidewalk, get off the couch & do something useful!

And remember to be humble, because at the end of the day, we're no more important then the other 7 billion humans on Earth, or even the beetles or rocks. Just look at the sky & think of the all those stars & galaxies, & next time you're riding all flashy in that red Mercedes...realize it's really not that important in the overall scheme of life....which sounds corny overall but oh well...

There is an interesting paradox. If you are alone in a room, and let's say there is no visible light, you cannot prove in any way that you exist. The underlying idea is that you do not exist, or your life doesn't technically amount to any form of existence, unless you are acknowledged by somebody else. You see an incomplete world because the world before you is missing a sole person: yourself. For you to exist, and for your life to have value, you must be acknowledged by others. That does not mean that you should create social ties; you may choose this view as erroneous and base your existence simply on the "cogito, ergo sum" principle. But for those of us who are not reclusive and introverted, we tend to accept a value system based on the worth given to us by others. I am valuable to my family members because I sustain the family name; that gives my life one value. I also have a responsibility to my school sports team; that is another way to give my life its value. One's life has many of these distinct "values." If you choose to gauge its true value, I would suggest doing so by finding its worth along these values first. Then you may come to discover something about what life's true value is worth.

The value of life is defined by how we value our own life. Those who have little self worth find other's life less valuable.
We give life a relative value.

The value of life is unmeasurable. What gives it value is awareness of existence and the enjoyment of seeing other living things and coexisting and living with different types of life like plants, animals, mammals, etc. Experience life's joys and woes. There so much to learn,it keeps you wanting to survive to see what's around the corner. For example, the cartoon (The Jetsons). Not too far from now.To miss life and see or feel nothing, I am not looking foreword to it. I don't believe in Heaven so I'm in no hurry to die.

The value of life is huge. Do you realize that we are not here to satisfy our needs outside of Christianity? We are not here to follow the non believers in this life we are here to worship God. And that is the sole purpose of Creation.

the value of life is life itself. life is passion. life is happiness and sadness. etc. etc. basically life is everything we feel and enjoy. everything we love and hate. those are some of the things that make life valuable. if you take those things away from any human being, only then are we value-less.

Life has not value or meaning, but it is significant what we do down here.

Life is invaluable. You have the opportunity to be, to live, to exist and create with it what you will. Sure sometimes it feels that life sucks, but imagine if you were never given the opportunity, you wouldn't be here right now wondering about life, you'd be nonexistent.
