I have recently given up watching television and I am not much of a reader and I don’t know what book to start reading. Have you read any good books recently.

I read a lot and have got dozens of ideas for books, but I've never seen anything written on how to go about actually writing a book. Does anybody have any ideas on how to get started on this?

of violence in his stateroom were heard by neighbors. His wife woke up in the corridor with no memory after being unconscious. There was blood on the balcony and on the lifeboat cover directly beneath his balcony. His body was never found. The cruise ship employees hushed up the incident and didn't reveal important evidence. Question: who did him in? Was he involved in a drug deal gone bad? Was there a jealous lover on board? Did one of the crew get fed up with his incessant unreasonable demands and throw him out the window?

We've all heard the old phrase "forgive and forget", and you've probably also heard the question, Is it possible to forgive without forgetting. But my question is a little different. If you do something you deem as "bad" and in need of forgiveness, and you ask for forgiveness then forget about it, does that mean you are forgiven? Christ said I will forgive who I will forgive, but of you is required to forgive all men. He also said (I paraphrase) that once He has forgiven someone, He remembers it no more. So from these two scriptures I gather that we should forgive even ourselves. If we try to forgive ourselves, then give that desire (of forgiveness) over to God (so that we're not burdened with it any more), then forget about it and are no longer burdened by the guilt associated with it, are we forgiven (if not by God, then at least by ourselves)?

Another fun survey! *yayz!* Who's your favorite person from history and why? Since I asked, I'll start things off.
Person: Grigori Rasputin
Why: Being raised as a peasant and driven out of his village he virtually came out of no-where and began to controll the royal family of Russia. Countless times he "healed" Alexei and he gained a religous status while wantonly holding orgies. Combine that with how much it took to finally kill him. Poisoned, clubbed, shot 4 times, drowned, and castrated, he finally died. Though drowning was the official cause of death it's reported that the poison alone should have killed him.
