I am really big into video games. Don't get me wrong, I am not a computer or gaming "geek" by any terms, but it is just what I like to do. I like reading about them, buying them, and spending most of my time playing them. I have always "liked" reading, but lately I don't spend much time actually doing it. I got "Cell" by Stephen King as a gift for Christmas, and I love reading it. I actually enjoy taking the time to sit down and read. The problem is, I rarely actually find books like this. The only others I can remember me being obsessed with are "The Kite Runner" and the "Harry Potter" series. I want to be able to be as obsessed with books as I am with video games. I know quite a few websites to go on to learn all about video games, but nothing about books. Maybe a social site to get information about books, or book review websites, anything. I really want to make reading a much bigger part of my life. I thank anyone greatly for any help!

Freewrite, right now, a poem about something that interests you about LIFE. ANYTHING about life.
*It doesn't have to rhyme or follow "standard structure"!
I am interested in seeing what types of poets are out there and in hearing your opinions. =)

Can lenses be changed outdoors? If I am using a 50MM lens and want to put on a 24MM lens, can this been done when I am shooting outside in the daytime?
I know with a SLR Film Camera this is dangerous, but can it be done with a Digital SLR Camera?

If I believed that death would free my chest
Of the amorous thought that crushes me,
With my own hands I should have laid to rest
These tiresome limbs and calmed this misery;

But since I fear that it would be a change
From war to war, from woe to other woe,
On this side of the pass that marks my range
I half remain, alas, and half I go.

It is now time that the merciless string
Should press and push the arrow that remained
With other people's blood all wet and stained

And I pray Love for this, and that deaf thing
Who left me with his colours splashed and dyed,
And does not care to call me to his side.

If you could have just one wish this year (and have it come true), what would it be? It's a rather banal question, but I'm interested in what people will say : )

Mine would be to have the one I long for (and love dearly), for just one day!! It'd mean so much!! Thank you all so much for your answers in advance!! I will look forward to reading some of them, I'm sure. Goodnight...sleep tight everyone...all the best : )

That isn't really a link to a message board of movie reviews. It's a Hollywood/media experience I'm going through....{All 'reviews', so to speak, are by me.} Are these 200 snippet notes enough meat and material of my adventures to make a full length motion picture? What should I do to finally break the ice with the American entertainment industry?
