Does having children change the character of a person? Or do certain people of a certain character decide not to have children. I am contemplating on whether having children is a good choice. I believe it it not mandatory to have children and also that it doesn't fulfill any ideal to have children. Considering the state of society now, I can not imagine rearing up children in this society that seems to progressively become laxer in values. I also think bringing up children is not so easy any more. I do not think it selfish not to have children. And the religious ideas of a "good woman" becomes a mother is not for everyone. Hedonism is thoughtless way to squander time and that isn't a reason to not have children.

Ultimately I fear that I may miss out on great blessings, and other such invaluable sharing of one's life..Any thoughts/opinions?

I've been workshopping my play with a small theater group. Now some of the plays are going to be read before an audience and some of those are going to be selected for production. The rules say the stage will be bare and actors are allowed only small hand held props. Ive never seen this kind of reading and I want to make it really good. Should everyone stand in one place? Or should there be entrances and exits? More elaborate blocking? Everybody will be holding their scripts.

For our dance class, my partner and I need to prepare our final routines, for both the Cha-Cha and the Tango.

Are there any helpful websites out there that teach new dance steps, or that have tutorials/lessons?

Thanks.

What strange tears.
These empty hopes, a still hand.
Nothing, nothing and tears.
The moon is dark. A leaf falls.
Coolness sweeps the night air,
And the stars;
The stars are so far away.
You are somewhere,
Somewhere.
Perhaps not even in this world.
You who used to be
My entirety, my whole.
Now just the stars,
The skeletal trees,
The moon, bleeding a silent sketch,
Into the endless sky.

Thanks guys, any comments appreciated :)
x

Opera: how to appreciate?
I would like a guideline to appreciate opera, besides going to one. And where would be a nice city to live that's full of classical music, etc? Are we to read about an opera before going? Is knowing the plot/understanding Italin necessary? Tell me what is prerequisite in appreciation of opera. And...don't forget to recommend some.. And oh, I want to know because others have loved opera and I never really had the knowledge to understand why.
thanks in advance.
