Because everyone is touchier now than 50 years ago, for good reason-idiots are everywhere, causing problems.

Since you asked a very general question, I'll try to give you a very general answer without regard to a particular part of the world.

There are some things every human being wants to achieve in life, just by nature: earn a living, find a partner, and raise a family. This is basically behind nearly everything else people do, like getting an education, pursuing a career, or even political activites.

If someone is denied chances to achieve these basic goals, he or she can either despair, or fight. In most communities, women at least have the chance to find a male partner who provides for them. But men mostly don't have this option. And that's, in short, why in some parts of the world there are large groups of angry young men.

I'd wager that if you provde these angry young men with enough chances to find a job, to build a house and to earn a certain degree of respect in life, they will turn to peaceful, respectable family fathers in no time.

This is pent up anger from previous problems and the ones in the present as well. Everything is very dim in the future aspects for the dreams of mankind have been made a dismal view by the now administration in office in America as well as the other countries, and they newly appointed ones like the President of Iran. These are very convuluted times it is better to analyze these things from your own prospective and be positive and not allow anyone to take away your illusions, that is the keyword for this world in America. For we would not have this place if Jefferson, Adams, Washington, Paul Revere, John Hancock, Ben Franklin etc., allowed anyone to take away their illusions of freedom. I personally believe that the dictators that exist today will go away someday, hence forth we all that have illusions hope and pray for that day will come that they will all meet their Waterloo so to speak. History does repeat itself in one way, the aggressor will fall and then will arise the good from the situation. It will take an enormous amount of work for those that are in favor of freedom and pick up the pieces and put it together again. Everything goes in circles to keep the balance is the hardest part. The people have lost faith and this was a conspiracy from way back and still lingers within us all today, like a disease. It compounds itself when you run into hard times, like the people who have money and now they don't and they try and cant get anywhere even with hard work. Or when there is sickness in your family, a recent loss of life of a loved one, having your home taken from you?
With the doomsday mentality that these present administrations are publishing with all their propoganda of War and the fear rises in the average person, for the history proves that mankind does this to control people by creating a war like Iraq to make money for all these heads of our public all over the world. Biblical knowledge (like a history book), tells you that this is the time of the 7 beasts and the Great Whore, the seven representing the 7 continents. However the Whore is pure speculation on sins, religions, but is a female to represent the earth, being it is a birth giver. However you must do your own research and I would personally recommend the books listed below, for philosophies

They are angry at the actions of many that affect their country or life. 1. Iraq has a reason to be pissed off unlawfull occupation. 2. Syria 3. Always will have a case Palestine. 4. Many others but the ones that appeal to my sympathy. Also, the extreme push of ones beliefs on others. The world will be in pain for a long time!

The media and greed. We are constantly bombarded with how good "others" have it. So we need more. When we can't get it we get angry. In simpler times people were not that way.

I do not believe that the world, in general, is angry. I believe a lot of loud, publicity seekers are. I have been to church, shopping, out to eat and visited with neighbors today, and I have not run into one angry person. Maybe you should get out more.

The world is angry because people are lazy. Let me explain.

People select or appoint individuals to take care of problems because they are simply too busy to do it themselves. They wash their hands of the matter.

Generally, the first rule of being a person, unless you are a saint, is take care of number one. The appointed persons naturally look after their self interest first.

Most times their self interest are not the same as the job they were hired to do.

**** happens and everyone is unhappy, but now the lazy populace at least have someone to blame.

The appointee resigns or gets fired, we get a replacement and the cycle begins again.

The world has shifted it's focus from "us" to "me, me, me".
I want what I want, and I don't care how that affects you, or the environment, or the world in general. And, if I can't have what I want, then I'm going to get angry and I'm going to do whatever I need to get what I want. But, I won't work for it, I'll just take it!
We've forgotten that others have rights too. We've forgotten how to care, to have compassion, empathy and sympathy. Take those things away, and you have a world full of selfish, angry people.
