365 days have come and gone
still we're here without you
and it just feels so wrong.
it's like we're living in 2 worlds
here on earth, alone
and with you in heaven, that's home.
but we don't know how to get there just yet
because i guess our time's not through
just know that when we can
we'll find our way to you.
and tho we cried and couldn't understand
when the angels came for you
we soon found peace in god's promised plan
for the heaven he had in store for you.
see, god couldn't wait to take you home
to show you everything
you'd never known.
to watch you run
on streets of gold
to see you marvel
at things untold.
to watch you
sing, and laugh, and play
yes, god chose that special day.
and when OUR time is finished
and through;
just watch--
we'll be smiling as god brings us home,
To You.....

I know other people have asked this, but I wanted to add to it. I am not asking because I want to know the answer (I know what it is, I just wanted to gather everyone else's perspectives on it.)

is beauty simply what you see on TV or in magazines, or is it something more?

I would like intelligent and honest answers. Thanks!

I feel that my calling lies in music, but I am also feeling lost. My fatigue and lack of motivation comes partly from my draining, unsatisfying and consuming job. I think about working on music all the time and work on it every day, but sometimes my vision fails me.

Other people tell me that it is impossible to make money from music, and perhaps from a certain point of view they're right.

There are other things that interest me, but I've never really sustained serious interest in anything else for a good amount of time.

Right now I'm sort of drifting and exploring career opportunities.

I am etching a plate and I intend to use some "liquid soft ground" to cover up my mistakes so they don't etch in the acid in my printmaking class. In my printmaking class they used liquid hardground but I only have liquid softground at home...Will this work to keep those areas from being etched in the acid (I am using 2 parts water to one part nitric)?

A few centuries ago there was no global language dominating the globe and so there was a wider cultural delineation. Globalization was something inconceivable and each country was deeply marked and rooted. And if two foreigners, for example, who did not know each others native language, wanted to communicate they would have a great difficulty. Their surrounding worlds were much more closed in themselves and so different peoples were not exposed to such connections very often. Nowadays world is no longer what it used to be and for that reason there are other demands and needs which were unthinkable some centuries ago. Nevertheless, they are now quite obvious and extremely necessary, such as the acceptance of a dominant language.
Sometimes, however, a global language/culture may overcome others, despising them. Various traditions may be at risk when confronted with the dominant ones which can be overrated and more self respected. The use of foreign words is a quite clear example of how

The flag it is symbol of the south, a symbol of a country that once existed, although not always right but did exist, The war was about much more than just slavery, it was also about state rights. It was about democracy. All flags could be looked to many things such as genocide and etc, but yet we do not ask them for to be removed. I make these points for all, those who think and proudly fly it for the reson thinking it means supression.....is wrong. The Flag gave state rights. It gave us understanding of oursevles, a voice. As I am gay, I know in some odd way, and being from the south, and dated other race, I am diverse but yet the flag stood from an error gone bye but yet it is history and should not be forgotten? (once we forget history we could make the same mistake) So the southern cross although misused at times, should be condemed for the misuse of an object of history. It is up to all of us black, white, gay, straight, any religion to tolerate, love, educate and except.

I used to think i was an individual that was in total control of my life, for example, i could do what i want, i could be what i want, without outside forces is influencing me in any part of my life.Through my experiences i learned that i was dead wrong, every day is the same crappy day filled with some playfullness, laughter, anger, pain, and sleep.Pain of loosing time (actual time) is the worst pain of all to me. As every momment passes, i hate the concept of time more and more. What i mean is, it would be a great revelation if people became ageless wonders living an eternal life.
God influenced us by giving us thought, emotion, a creative imagination, if we don't use these senses properly, we get diseases, emotional pain, physical pain for example getting hurt while doing something thoughless, etc.God observes us and brings us pain or joy depending on what our action was. This behooves me to be on God's good side. So prayer means so much to me.
Please share your thoughts.

I am curious as to how people view the Confederate Flag. I know that people say that it is tied to Southern History, but they never explain its significance. Is this a good or bad significance? I am not asking this question lacking the knowledge of the events leading to the Civil War. I am curious as to how people view the Confederate Flag.
