The only one sure way to beat the breathalyzer. ( and I was told this by a cop) Carry an open bottle of liquor in your car. Make sure it is a glass bottle. When you are pulled over get out of your car and drink as much of the liquor in the bottle as you can before the officer reaches you. Then before he gets to you smash the bottle on the ground.
The only thing you can be charged with is having open liquor in the car. Since the officer can not prove how much alcohol was in your system prior to you getting behind the wheel. Since you drank in front of him you can also be charged with drunk in a public place. But not impaired driving. Because you are no longer driving the car. You need a lawyer to argue the case for that. But the other two charges are less than impaired driving.
However, my suggestion is this DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!! then you don't have to worry about the breathalyzer. Besides only IDIOTS drive drunk!!!

Refuse the breathalyzer and don't exit your car.... unless of course you like getting DUIs

a halls mentholyptus cough drop will cause the breathalizer to malfunction..

if you've been drinking, you deserve whatever happens when you fail.
